We were blessed with perfect weather when we went camping with the I2B skimmers at Kogel Bay.

It’s an I2B Day
We had a blast at our quarterly “It’s an I2B Day” during the school holiday!
National Champs for the Physically Disabled 2017
This was my first time at National that I was not participating as an athlete. It was a bitter sweet feeling – a combination of missing to run but also being able to put all my energy into the athletes.
Clintie and Nur did us proud and received a silver medal in the 100m and 200m T11 category. I2B also partnered with SCAS and Made for More and together we did an outreach at Nationals.
Thabo Dube shared his testimony at the event.
Surfing contest
In March, I2B Surf took part in their very first tag team surf contest hosted by Surf4Life. Some of our grommets (young surfers) filled a team of 5 who took 2nd place in the final heat, as well as the Spirit Prize for having the most “gees”.
We’re so proud of their performance, especially considering they’ve only been surfing for a few short months. WATCH THIS SPACE…

Hardworking kids
The children at Raithby are still hard at work!
Y2K High School
Myself and Thabo went to his former high school and shared our stories with the learners.
Thabo dropped out of school and was living on the streets but decided to go back to his school while working to put himself through school.
Camp at Push Skatepark
Camp at Push Skatepark
We took some of our I2B members to the new Push Skatepark in Brackenfell where we also had a braai and sleep-over in the park. Thanks so much to Tristan Bellingham for letting us do the camp at this awesome skatepark.
