It is More Blessed to Give than to Receive

We held an “It’s More Blessed to Give than to Receive” weekend with the athletes from Pioneers school and the children from the Youth Center in Stellenbosch.

The evening before the sport and braai day, we had a sleep-over for the athletes at my apartment.

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible!

The photo below describes the weekend for me: That God is always in time and He brings liberty if we trust Him. He is the God who makes the impossible possible.

Competing in the UST, Portugal

Jami and I had the immense privilege of visiting Portugal where I represented South Africa at the United Skim Tour competition. I competed in the under 28+ division and I am truly thankful to have received the trophy for my division. Thank you so much to everyone who prayed and supported me in fulfilling one of my biggest dreams.

It was really great to spend time with some of the best skimboarders in the world – including number one ranked Blair Conklin. When we returned home, I2B club member, Ronnie Matinya, blessed me with a bag full of goodies and a heartfelt congratulations speech on behalf of the I2B Strand club.
